Centered Remainder Representation for Ring Buffer Correction in System-Level Code
Abstract
This paper presents a framework for applying centered remainder representation to correct ring buffer indices in system-level code. Ring buffers are a fundamental data structure in signal processing, real-time systems, and circular queue implementations. This work demonstrates how centered remainder arithmetic provides an elegant and efficient mechanism for managing buffer wraparound operations.
